We are a young friendly and social orchestra who play to a relatively high standard. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 7:30pm to 9:45pm September to July with three concerts per year.

Chorleywood Orchestra is looking for double basses! We rehearse Tuesday evenings in school term times. The programme for our next concert (in November) is Prokofiev Lieutenant Kije Suite, Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1 and Tchaikovsky Symphony No.6

Camden Symphony Orchestra is one of London's leading non-professional orchestras. We have been a mainstay of musical life in north London for more than forty years with around seventy regular players. Under our Musical Director Levon Parikian, CSO seeks to combine the familiar staples of the Classical, Romantic and 20th century repertoire with less well-known and more challenging works. We rehearse on a weekly basis and perform three major orchestral concerts a year. We are looking for double basses to join our large string section.

We are looking for a permanent double bass player. We don't hold auditions but are looking for an experienced player for this important position.
