Cello players wanted

Interested to hear from any cello players keen to join us, Grade 7 or above - we are a friendly and welcoming orchestra. We perform a wide and stimulating repertoire including joint concerts with the TPS choir.

This is an amateur 'all abilities' orchestra. Anyone (and any instrument) is welcome.

Rehearsals Thursday nights 7.15pm- 9.30pm We are an orchestra based in Blantyre, just off the M74, easy to reach from Glasgow and all across Lanarkshire. We have fun but also work hard to put on 3 concerts a year. We play a mix of classical repertoire and more modern pieces such as film music. We would love to hear from any cellists interested in joining us

We rehearse on a Wednesday evening and are based at Hampstead Garden Suburb's Free Church, the London International Concert Orchestra is composed of retired and working professionals, recent graduates and amateur players; from all backgrounds and of all ages and nationalities united by our love of music, We have an exciting programme of music ahead of us and would very much like a couple of regular bass players . Our next concert is on Sunday 11th October. Programme Mozart Don Giovanni Overture, Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, Dvorak Symphonic Variations and Sibelius 7th Symphony. We are a young friendly and social orchestra who play to a relatively high standard. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 7:30pm to 9:45pm September to July with three concerts per year.

London based string players - are you looking forward to autumn and getting back to orchestral playing? The Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra is one of London's leading and longest established amateur orchestras playing to a v high standard with our fantastic conductor Christopher Stark. We are a very friendly group and share a lot of good cake! We rehearse on Sundays in Camden for a few weeks before each of our three concerts. Members are talented amateurs of all ages, music students, young professionals, music teachers. Music students do not pay membership fees. Next season has some great music, starting with a concert that includes Beethoven 1 and a beautiful saxophone piece performed by our winning Soloist of the Year Megan Glover Rehearsals start Sept 27th and the concert is at 6.30pm on Oct 25th at St John’s Waterloo.
